The 2019 BAY FOLK weekend is now over - and a good time was had by all.

In total, an amazing £1833 was raised for the RNLI.

A big THANK YOU to all the Dancers, Cafe Dashers, Singers and Musicians who took part

- and to EVERYONE for their generous donations.

Over 50 dancers, drummers, singers and musicians danced their socks off and sung their hearts out throughout the weekend to raise this amazing total.

There isn't space to name everyone, but

Thieving Magpie Morris and 400 Roses dance teams between them raised over £380.

Last year many were hugely disappointed at the way the RNLI managed the disciplinary action over the mugs issue at Whitby lifeboat. Those taking part in this year's fundraising were invited to collect for other charities, but all chose to continue collecting for the lifeboat.
